Lung Cancer

Lung cancer is cancer that begins in the lungs.

The lungs inside the chest. They help to breathe. When you breathe, air passes through the nose, down the windpipe (trachea) and lungs, where it has spread tubes called bronchi. Most cell lung cancer line with these tubes.

There are two main types of lung cancer:

Cancer Chemotherapy

Since then, the development of anticancer drugs have increased dramatically, although many of the principles and limitations of research at the start of chemotherapy still apply.

Chemotherapy drugs interfere with cell division and most forms of treatment that targets all rapidly dividing cells and therefore is not specific to cancer cells. However, some degree of specificity achieved by the inability of cancer cells to repair due to damage to DNA. Normal cells do not repair themselves after chemotherapy, because their DNA is intact. Since cancer chemotherapy is not specific to cancer cells, it has the potential to damage healthy tissue, especially tissue that have the high penetration rate for the intestinal lining, for example.

Lung Cancer Symptoms

Lung cancer have no symptoms when the cancer is diagnosed. These cancers are usually identified further when a chest radiograph performed for another reason. Most people, however, symptoms. The symptoms are due to the direct effects of the primary tumor, the effects of metastatic tumors in other parts of the body, or changes in hormones, blood, or other systems caused by cancer.

Symptoms of primary lung cancer are cough, coughing up blood, chest pain and shortness of breath.

• A cough that does not go away or gets worse over time should be evaluated by a health professional.
