Health & physical education


Health and Physical Education (HPE) promotes the value of physical activity in students' lives. It gives students the opportunity to learn and practice ways of working with others and to adopt and maintain a healthy, active and productive.

HPE is also students' learning experiences challenging and enjoyable movement and improve their ability to move the skill and confidence in different contexts.

The subjects offered in schools in the HPE learning area include home economics, health education, education of hospitality, early childhood care and recreation.

Health promotion

health promotion : in hospitals includes interventions to structures and processes, and interventions for people (patients and staff).

Here are some of the goals of health promotion in hospitals

  • If you want to change the culture of hospitalization for interdisciplinary cooperation, transparency of decision-making and active participation of patients and partners.
  • Activities to promote health Toevaluate health care and build an evidence base in this area.
  • Standards and indicators for Toincorporate health promotion into existing systems of quality management in hospital and nationally.

With an international awareness and development of health promotion in hospitals, the number of hospitals and acceding countries in the International Network of Health Promoting Hospitals has steadily increased over time. In the near future, I think people increasingly benefit.

Physical activities

Physical activity: Any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles, which requires energy consumption. Physical inactivity (sedentary lifestyle) is an independent risk factor for chronic diseases, and in general is estimated to cause 1.9 million deaths worldwide.

Regular physical activity - like walking, cycling or dancing - has important health benefits. For example, you can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and osteoporosis, helps control weight and promote wellness. Everyone should get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. More activity may be necessary to control weight.
